Our Council was organized in February of 1969. Since that time we have grown to over 1,200 members!
Our Goals
 Increase membership of the educational community, college students, and community members. |
| Involve more students by sponsoring programs that encourage reading and writing. |
| Provide information and staff development through programs, newsletters, and conferences. |
| Encourage greater participation by general membership in professional activities. |
| Encourage literacy in the community through our outreach programs. |
